Reflections

What does it say when so many people register for a conference about how to use data that you need to change two of the three venues to accommodate everyone?  Thank you to the more than 300 educators who came out on a summer day to work and learn alongside their colleagues in order to better by the students they serve.  The only thing more gratifying than this, is to come home and find this email in my inbox:

I attended the LinkIt! DFSI in Parsippany last week.  I didn't get to personally thank you but I wanted to reach out to thank you for an uplifting morning.  I never thought a presentation on data could be so informative, engaging, and entertaining.  I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to have that experience.  As a forty year educator/administrator, your workshop inspired and motivated me to continue the journey of supporting teachers in their efforts to engage our students in meaningful learning.  Thank you, Tracey, for your heartfelt presentation.  Best wishes for a rewarding and successful school year!
