Reflections

What an amazing example of true self advocacy!  The event was desgined and facilitated by students with learning challenges, for students with learning challenges. Seeing the students from James Caldwell High School and Mt. Olive High School working and learning together was an absolute joy.  I also appreciated the opportunity to open the program by sharing my thoughts on the essential elements of self advocacy - knowing your worth, your words, and your way.
