How can we ensure that even our most struggling learners graduate ready for success in college and careers? We believe it depends upon our willingness and ability to provide 5 primary interventions: increase time, teach to understanding, teach what matters, increase effort, and personalize missing skills. While these strategies appear in many school improvement plans, achieving college and career readiness for all students will require that they are applied in every classroom. During this workshop, participants learned how to integrate these high impact strategies into lesson design and delivery.
Participants enjoyed the opportunity to talk about the interventions that improve outcomes for struggling learners.
